Smoked mozzarella di bufala or scarmorza (as it is called in Italy) is a delicious snack, is great on pizza and sandwiches. Scarmorza is made by aging fresh mozzarella until the texture becomes more firm. We then add its smoky flavour.
An important note about shipping cheese
We are based in California and usually ship UPS ground within the west coast states from Monday to Wednesday. We then ship UPS next day air or next day air saver on Thursday or Friday, there may be an extra charge if the cheese arrives on Saturday morning. If you live in the mid west or on the East coast you must choose UPS 2nd day or UPS next day, this is because we are shipping a fresh product and want you to receive it in perfect condition. We pack our fresh cheeses in a Styrofoam box with an ice pack. You can choose which shipping method you prefer on our secure order form.
